  26. Modern printers have all kinds of different functions which on a PC would
  27. be selected with a mouse from within the Properties window of the printer 
  28. driver program.
  29.  
  30. Some printers give access to these functions via the control buttons, but the 
  31. sequences are tedious and hard to remember.
  32.  
  33. My program enables you to perform most of these test functions with the mouse
  34. in the comfort of your chair (if indeed you are sitting down at the time!)

  36. At the moment I have included maintenance function for

  41. Canon 7000
  42. Canon 7100
  43. Canon 8200
  44. Epson 750 Photo
  45. Epson Stylus 850

  47. It is up to you to connect the correct printer. Default is the Canon 4650, but 
  48. the iconbar menu opens a small Epson 750 window. The !Printers application does
  49. not have to be installed when you use the program.

  51. The program is written in such a way that I can easily update it for other
  52. printers. Drop me an e-mail if you have a different printer and I will see 
  53. what I can do.

  55. The icon-bar menu gives access to the various printers that the program can
  56. handle so far. The 'Reset' button will reset the printer. This is useful if
  57. you have connected the wrong printer by mistake. The 'Save startup' will 
  58. determine the default printer on startup. If for instance you own an Epson 750,
  59. select it and then click on 'Save startup'. Next time you load NoButton the 
  60. window of your printer will open when you click on the icon.
